Col. Rajeev Mannali



Colonel Rajeev Mannali trained to kill but always had a desire to save lives. After dedicating over 33 years to the Indian Army, he retired in January 2009 to pursue his passion for healthcare. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BR Life SUT Super Specialty Hospital, Pattom Thiruvananthapuram. He has been awarded for excellence in Health Care Management by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, Kalakaumudi Arogyam' and 'Rising Trivandrum'. He is a prolific reader and writer and remains actively engaged with social, literacy and charitable institution.

From Aug 2013 to Aug 2015 I was CEO of Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre ,a multi specialty ,250 bedded hospital at Vellore.The hospital is the outcome of the love for humanity and the benevolence of His Holiness Sri Sakthi Amma.The hospital has added another 100 beds to house a state of the art Cardiac,Urology and Nephrology centres.We also had three primary health care Centres and a 20 bedded hospiatl at Satuachari ,Vellore.We had a Nursing College,a Nursing School and an Institute of Para Medical Sciences affiliated to the hospital.We also had a fully equipped Ayurvedic Centre catering to our patients who prefer the holistic approach to wellness.

I started a consultancy firm 'HEALTHY WORLD' which provides end to end solutions in health care including organising CSR on behalf of the corporates.I was the founder Chairman and MD of the firm till mid August 2013. Currently the organisation is being managed by professionals under my guidance. The thrust of my activities is to provide affordable quality health care and education to the deprived sections of the society based in rural areas of the country.
Chief administrator CMC Vellore Chittoor complex - Was given the opportunity to head the fledgling Chittoor complex CMC vellore which was completed in a record period of time. Was able to operationalise the centre and lay the foundation for a good secondary care unit.With adequate capacity to develop centres of learning on the model of CMC Vellore.Having completed the role envisaged ,left for Cochin to take up the new challenge as Executive Director of medical college.

Executive Director ,Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Challaka,Cochin- was heading as Executive Director of both college and hospital. Was responsible for laying down systems and strengthening the college as an excellent academic centre.

Unit Head ,BR Life ,SUT Hospital , Pattom- Since June 2018 I have been heading SUT Hospital , Pattom.
